What we want

We want G20 leaders to end the tax haven secrecy that allows companies to hide their profits and dodge paying taxes in the countries where they operate.

To do this we believe that the G20 must agree to implement automatic exchange of tax information between different countries, including tax havens. The G20 must also support measures requiring companies to report on their profits made and taxes paid in every country in which they operate. These measures would help all countries collect the taxes they are owed, particularly developing countries.

Thanks to pressure from over 40,000 people like yourselves, the G20 last year took some small steps towards ending tax haven secrecy, but they can and must do much more. Please join us in calling on world leaders to take decisive action on tax haven secrecy when they meet in Mexico this June.
